I have been making this for years and everyone loves it. I have made it as a loaf or as muffins for the kids to take on the bus. Hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

  • 1/2 c
    butter, softened
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 1/4 c
  • 2
  • 1 c
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda

  • 3/4 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 tsp

How to Make Creamy Banana Bread


  1. Pre-heat oven to 350.
    Cream together the Butter and cream cheese until smooth.
  2. Gradually add sugar. Beat until fluffy.
  3. Add one egg at a time. Stir in bananas and vanilla.
  4. Add flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, and mix until moist.
    If you want to change it up a bit add some mini chocolate chips to your liking.
  5. Mix the topping ingredients.
  6. you can decide what you want to use..either muffin tins..9x13 baking dish or a bundt pan. Spray the pan with oil and pour the batter in. Sprinkle with the topping mix.
    Bake for 45 minutes. Check with a toothpick
  7. Finally..Enjoy!
