Ingredients

  • 1 c
    tart cranberries
  • 1/2 c
    granulated sugar
  • 2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 large
    egg
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 tsp
    pure orange extract

How to Make CRANBERRY MUFFINS

Step-by-Step

  1. Chop cranberries and sprinkle with 1/4 Cup of the sugar.
  2. Sift remaining sugar with flour, baking powder and salt.
  3. Beat egg slightly; add milk and butter.
  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients; stir only until moistened.
  5. Fold in cranberries and extracts. Mix until smooth.
  6. Transfer to greased muffin tins, filling 2/3 full. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool.
