This is my Mom's recipe for cornbread. Growing up as a kid we use to eat cornbread quite a lot. It was always so yummy and warm.

Ingredients
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 medium egg
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup safflower oil
How To Make cornbread

Step 1Mix all dry ingredients together.

Step 2Add milk, egg and oil and mix well.

Step 3Pour into a greased 8x10 pan or muffin cups.

Step 4Bake at 375 degrees for 30-45 minutes or until golden brown on top.
