Ingredients
- CINNAMON APPLES
- 1 cup peeled & diced apple(one apple)
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- MUFFIN BASE
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg white
- 3 tablespoons yogurt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- TOPPING
- 1/4 cup sugar in the raw
How To Make cinnamon apple muffins

Step 1Cinnamon Apples In a small saucepan, combine apples, butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. Bring to a simmer, cook until apples are softened and sugar is caramelized. Remove from heat and set aside.

Step 2Muffins Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line muffins tin with liners.

Step 3In bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, and cinnamon.

Step 4Cream together butter and sugar.

Step 5Add egg white, yogurt and vanilla. Mix well.

Step 6Stir in flour until combined.

Step 7Fold in apples so they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.

Step 8Divide the batter among the muffin cups.

Step 9Sprinkle tops with sugar in the raw.

Step 10Bake for 15 to 18 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes, transfer to cooling rack.
