Can try without the chocolate chips too! This recipe is from a friend of a friend, great for the fall and holiday times!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3/4 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tablespoon salt
  • 1/4 tablespoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate chip pumpkin muffins

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375 degrees. Grease or put paper liners in muffin pan.
  • Step 2
    Mix sugar, oil, and eggs.
  • Step 3
    Then add pumpkin and water and mix more.
  • Step 4
    In a separate bowl mix baking flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices and salt.
  • Step 5
    Add to wet mixture, slowly mixing it in.
  • Step 6
    Then stir in chocolate chips. It is up to you but you can add more or less than 1 cup.
  • Step 7
    Fill muffin cups, about 3/4 full.
  • Step 8
    Bake 20 minutes and check.
