Ingredients
- 2 cups four
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 - egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 10 ounces frozen sweet cherries, thawed and chopped
How To Make cherry muffins

Step 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line muffin tin with paper cups.

Step 2Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder & baking soda in medium bowl.

Step 3In a large bowl, whisk egg, then whisk in milk, sour cream, melted butter and almond extract until smooth.

Step 4Using a wooden spoon stir in the cherries.

Step 5Stir in the flour mixture until moistened.

Step 6Fill muffin tin 3/4 full.

Step 7Bake 22-25 minutes, or until tops are browned.

Step 8Let cool in pan 10 minutes before removing to wire rack to cool.
