I just love muffins-these are great with chili, stew, or with lots of butter

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped and sauted in a little butter
  • 1 teaspoon dill weed or dried parsley

How To Make cheddar muffins

  • Step 1
    Stir together flour, bakingpowder, salt, paprika, and sugar. Add egg, milk, sour cream, butter and cheese. Stir until blended. Fold in onions and herbs.
  • Step 2
    Use ice cream scooper to fill greased muffing tins. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
