Ingredients

3/4 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
2 - eggs
2 1/2 cups ap flour
3/4 tablespoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 pinch salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup milk

How To Make cake donut muffins

Step 1

Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs, beating well. Sift in dry ingredients, adding alternately with cup of milk. Drop into well-greased muffin pan. Bake @ 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes (brown around edges. Brush with 2 tbsps melted butter. Sprinkle heavily with mixture of 1/2 cup sugar w/ 1 tsp. cinnamon.
