How to Make Brown Sugar Muffins
- In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and brown sugar. Add egg, milk and vanilla. Combine the dry ingredients and add to the creamed mixture just until they are blended.
- Fill paper lined muffin cups 3/4th's full. Bake at 400 for 16-20 minutes or until center tests done. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack. 1 dozen.
