My Hubby loves it but for him I have to take out the raisins. Passed down from my Foster Mom Elaine Egbert.

Ingredients

  • 1 - 15 oz. packages raisin bran cereal
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 cups flour
  • 5 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • MIX FOLLOWING AND ADD TO DRY INGREDIENTS
  • 4 - beaten eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 quart buttermilk

How To Make bran muffins

  • Step 1
    Mix well and keep stored in refrigerator in covered bowl. Use as desired.
  • Step 2
    Fill muffin pans 2/3 full.
  • Step 3
    Bake @ 370 for approx. 15 - 20 min.
  • Step 4
    We like ours a little browner so we bake for 20 to 25 min.
  • Step 5
    Batter will keep up to 6 weeks.
