Started with a basic recipe from a cook book I received as a bride 41 yrs ago. I have adjusted and added to it over the years. Can substitute other fruits and use brown sugar instead if using apples and can add nuts.

Ingredients For blueberry muffins

1egg - beatened

1 cmilk

1/4 cvegetable oil

1 tspvanilla

1/2 csugar
-
1 1/2 cself rising flour

1 cblueberries
-
sugar in the raw
How To Make blueberry muffins

1Preheat oven to 350. Spray 12 cup muffin pan with vegetable spray or use paper liners.

2Combine egg, vegetable oil, vanilla and milk.

3Stir in sugar and flour. Batter will be lumpy.

4Gently fold in blueberries.

5Divide among the 12 muffin cups. Sprinkle tops with Sugar in the Raw.

6Bake 18- 28 minutes or until lightly browned.
