Got this recipe from a friend and really liked it you can use any kind of fruit it doesn't have to be blueberries and lemon we just happen to like blueberries and lemon alot.

Ingredients For blueberry lemon muffins

  • 2 c
    flour
  • 5 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • I lg
    egg
  • I/4 c
    crisco
  • I c
    milk
  • I tsp
    salt
  • I 3/4 c
    blueberries
  • I Tbsp
    lemon zest, grated
  • I tsp
    lemon juice

How To Make blueberry lemon muffins

  • 1
    In a small bowl mix the flour the baking powder and the sugar
  • 2
    Cream Crisco, sugar, and an egg in a mixing bowl.

    Mix flour mixture in the cream mixture alternate with milk.
  • 4
    Put A little flour on your blueberries and fold into your mixture along with the lemon zest and the lemon juice.

    Grease your muffin tins,( I use papers) bake in a 400 Degree oven for 20 minutes.
