banana dark chocolate chip crumb muffins
I had so many bananas going bad all the time that I found a recipe the boys would like.You know you have a good recipe when your teenage boys know you need 3 bananas to make muffins and stop eating them so there are 3 left at all times..

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- shake - pumpkin pie spice
- 3 - ripe bananas
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 - egg
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
- CRUMB TOPPING
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamin
- 1 tablespoon butter softened

Step 1preheat oven to 375. put 12 muffin wrappers in muffin pan. in one bowl mix flour , baking soda and powder, salt cinnamon,and pumpkin pie spice

Step 2in another bowl add mashed bananas, vegetable oil, brown and white sugars,vanilla, and egg

Step 3mix the topping ingredients in another bowl. I always let my butter sit out to get soft before I make these muffins. I just use my fingers to mix it all together.

Step 4Add the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just mixed. add chocolate chips. stir them together and put in muffin pan. Sprinkle topping and bake for 18-20 minutes. Toothpick should come out clean..
