I had so many bananas going bad all the time that I found a recipe the boys would like.You know you have a good recipe when your teenage boys know you need 3 bananas to make muffins and stop eating them so there are 3 left at all times..

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • shake - pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 - ripe bananas
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 - egg
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • CRUMB TOPPING
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamin
  • 1 tablespoon butter softened

How To Make banana dark chocolate chip crumb muffins

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 375. put 12 muffin wrappers in muffin pan. in one bowl mix flour , baking soda and powder, salt cinnamon,and pumpkin pie spice
  • Step 2
    in another bowl add mashed bananas, vegetable oil, brown and white sugars,vanilla, and egg
  • Step 3
    mix the topping ingredients in another bowl. I always let my butter sit out to get soft before I make these muffins. I just use my fingers to mix it all together.
  • Step 4
    Add the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just mixed. add chocolate chips. stir them together and put in muffin pan. Sprinkle topping and bake for 18-20 minutes. Toothpick should come out clean..
