My kids beg me to make these!! I healthy them up a little by using only 1 c. of a.p. flour and then 3/4 c. of whole wheat flour. I also use half coconut oil and half light olive oil (it doesn't taste like olive oil!!).

Ingredients

all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp
baking soda
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 c
sugar
1 1/4 tsp
cream of tartar

eggs, beaten
1/2 c
vegetable oil

ripe bananas, mashed
1/8 c
milk (or a little more to make batter a bit more moist)
8 oz
chocolate chips

How to Make Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 400. Combine first 5 ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • 2In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients except chocolate chips.
  • 3Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Mix chocolate chips until well combined. Spoon into a sprayed muffin pan. Bake for about 18 minutes.
