apple streusel muffins
I love bread of all kinds and muffins are always a hit! This recipe is a bit different from the original oly because I didnt have sour cream and improvished a little.

Ingredients
- TOPPING
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- BATTER
- 1 & 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- WET INGREDIENTS FOR BATTER
- 1 - large granny smith apple or two small apples,cored and diced
- 1 - container of vanilla yoghurt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 - eggs, beaten
How To Make apple streusel muffins

Step 1Preheat your oven to 375 Degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure your oven rack is set in the middle.

Step 2Grease you muffin tin and set aside.

Step 3Mix the ingredients for the topping and set aside.

Step 4Peel, core and dice the apples and set aside.

Step 5Mix the wet ingredients for the batter in a separate bowl and add the apples to the mix.

Step 6Mix all the dry ingredients for the batter in a large bowl and add the apple mixture. Be careful not to overmix, as this makes muffins tough.

Step 7Spoon the batter into the muffin tin until almost full.

Step 8Spoon the streusel topping onto each muffin top. You may have some left over.

Step 9Bake at 375 for 25-30 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
