My sister in law gave me this recipe after our family spent a week with them. Every morning she would pop these into the oven and serve with breakfast.

  • 4 large
    eggs, beaten
  • 3 c
  • 2 tsp
  • 1 qt
  • 1 c
    salad oil
  • 5 c
  • 5 tsp
    baking soda
  • 6 c
    bran flakes

How to Make 6 Week Muffins


  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a very large bowl mix eggs, sugar, salt, buttermilk, oil, flour and soda.
  3. Stir in bran flakes.
  4. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full and bake for 20-22 minutes.
  5. Blueberries, raisins, mashed bananas or nuts may be added.
  6. Store unused batter in refrigerator and enjoy freshly baked muffins every day!
