Ingredients

  • 1 - egg beaten
  • 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup frozen fruit

How To Make pancakes with fruit

  • Step 1
    In a small bowl add the buttermilk, and oil to the beaten egg
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl us a wisk to stir all of the dry ingredients together
  • Step 3
    Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients
  • Step 4
    pour in the wet ingredients and stir using a spatula just until combined
  • Step 5
    stir in the frozen fruit
  • Step 6
    use a ladle to pour the batter on a preheated and prepared griddle of 350
  • Step 7
    flip when the cakes have bubbled and brown the other side
