1Heat non stick skillet with 1 teaspoon shortening. Allow shortening to melt.
2Pour batter for 1 small to medium sized flapjack into Hot skillet. (For larger flapjacks use a little more shortening)
Fry on medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with remaining batter.
3Eat while hot with butter and syrup or jelly. Good plain with just butter, too.
