How to Make Oklahoma Flapjacks
- Heat non stick skillet with 1 teaspoon shortening. Allow shortening to melt.
- Pour batter for 1 small to medium sized flapjack into Hot skillet. (For larger flapjacks use a little more shortening)
Fry on medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with remaining batter.
- Eat while hot with butter and syrup or jelly. Good plain with just butter, too.
