How to Make Navajo Fry Bread
- Mix dry ingredients, use a fork to add shortening.
- Add enough water to make dough. Knead until dough is soft not sticky
- Form into 2 inch balls and flatten into a 6 inch circle.
- Fry each side in oil about 1 min. until brown. Flip over and fry other side. Drain on paper towels.
- Serve with cinnamon sugar or use as a base for taco meat and fixings.
