Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 - egg ,beaten
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 4-1/2 cups enough flour to make a soft dough
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 -4 tablespoon minced garlic

How To Make grilled naan

  • Step 1
    DISSOLVE YEAST IN WARM WATER IN A LARGE BOWL AND LET STAND FOR 10 MIN. UNTIL FROTHY
  • Step 2
    ADD MILK , SUGAR, EGG, SALT AND ENOUGH FLOUR TO MAKE A SOFT DOUGH
  • Step 3
    KNEAD FOR 6-8 MIN ON FLOURED SURFACE UNTIL DOUGH IS SMOOTH
  • Step 4
    FORM DOUGH INTO A BALL AND LET RISE, COVERED IN A WELL OILED BOWL FOR 1 HOUR, THE DOUGH SHOULD DOUBLE IN SIZE
  • Step 5
    PUSH DOWN DOUGH WITH HANDS AND KNEAD IN GARLIC. FORM DOUGH IN GOLF BALL SIZE BALLS AND LET RISE 30 MIN UNTIL DOUBLED.
  • Step 6
    PREHEAT GRILL WHILE BALLS ARE RISING, FLATTEN EACH BALL IN TO CIRCLE
  • Step 7
    BRUCH WITH BUTTER AND COOK ON GRILL 2-3 MIN UNTIL PUFFY AND LIGHT BROWN BRUSH UNCOOKED SIDE WITH BUTTER AND FLIP, COOKING FOR ANOTHER 2-4 MIN UNTIL BROWNED... REPEAT UNTIL ALL NAAN ARE COOKED.
