This is a great way to eat cornbread. It's always been my favorite; even with green, chilli or just by themselves. You'll love them.

Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 - egg
- 2 tablespoons oil ( i use bacon fat ) veg. oil will due
- 1 cup milk
- ADD ALL DRY INGREDIENTS TOGETHER IN MEDIUM MIXING BOWL

Step 1After adding all dry ingredients to bowl...

Step 2Add egg, oil and milk.

Step 3mix well. batter should be thick

Step 4heat frying pan with oil 2 teaspoon of oil

Step 5Add 2 large spoonfull of batter in pan

Step 6bubbles will form on top when ready to flip over

Step 7check bottom, should be golden brown

Step 8flip Carfully

Step 9cook till golden on opposite side repeat till all Flap-Jacks are cooked ENJOY!
