Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups applesauce
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cooking oil
- 2 - eggs
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
How To Make spiced applesauce bread

Step 1In mixer bowl, thoroughly combine applesauce, the sugar, oil, eggs and milk. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, salt, nutmeg and allspice. Stir into applesauce mixture; beat well. Fold in the 1/2 cup pecans, turn into well greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Combine 1/4 cup pecans, the brown sugar, remaining 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon; sprinkle over batter. Bake in moderate oven 350 degrees for 1 hour or until done. Remove from pan; cool on rack.
