Ingredients

  • 1 box - pillsbury or krustez quick bread
  • 1 cup - dried raisins
  • 1 cup - toasted pecans or walnuts, chopped
  • 2 tsp - cinnamon
  • 1 tsp - freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 tsp - ground ginger
  • - zest from two oranges
  • 1 tsp - vanilla

How To Make pumpkin spice bread

  • Step 1
    Dump cake mix in bowl; add spices and stir well;
  • Step 2
    add wet ingredients including zest and stir to mix;
  • Step 3
    Add craisins and nuts, stir. Pour into greased bundt or loaf pan; bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
  • Step 4
    In small bowl mix 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp ginger and enough fresh squeezed orange juice to make drizzle glaze; mix well and drizzle over cooled cake or bread.
