peanut butter banana bread
This is a dense, heavy and moist loaf with a fine crumb. It says the chocolate and peanut butter chips are optional but we all know they really aren't!

Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 4 - small, very ripe, bananas
- 3/4 cup smooth peanut butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla
- 1 1/2 tablespoons milk
- 3/4 cup butter(softened)
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 3 - eggs(large)
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter chips (optional)
How To Make peanut butter banana bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Very generously grease 2 8"X4" loaf pans with Crisco (I use butter flavored).

Step 2Stir together first 5 ingredients in a small bowl. Set Aside.

Step 3Place next 4 ingredients in another bowl. Set aside.

Step 4In a large bowl, with a mixer, cream butter and sugar together for at least 3 minutes until light and fluffy (the yellow color should be much lighter when done). Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well and scraping down the bowl after each one.

Step 5Using the mixer, blend the banana bowl ingredients and clean off the beaters, you are done with the mixer.

Step 6Stir the banana mixture into the butter mixture with a wooden spoon or use my favorite, a silicone spoonula!

Step 7Sift all the flour mixture into the big bowl and stir just until blended.

Step 8Fold in all the chips and put batter equally into the prepared loaf pans.

Step 9Bake approx. 70 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.

Step 10Cool on a rack, in the pan, for 10 minutes before removing from pan to cool completely (a couple of hours at least) before slicing.
