This is a recipe for Philippine Pandesal. This recipe can also be used to make Pan de Coco, Ensymada and Pan de Ube.

Makes Approximately 40 rolls
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons yeast
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 5 tablespoons butter or margerine
- 5 1/2 cups all purpose flour
How To Make pandesal

Step 1Place all ingredients in a bread machine and mix on dough setting until machine finishes cycle.

Step 2Once dough is made, place on cutting board and cut dough into 5 pieces and set aside. Take one piece and cut into 1 ounce pieces and take the pieces and roll with hands until smooth. Repeat until all dough is rolled into rolls.

Step 3Place rolled dough on a greased sheet pan and allow to rise in a draft free place for 20 minutes.

Step 4Once dough has risen, bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown.

Step 5Once rolls come out of the oven, brush tops with butter to keep the bread soft.
