Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 2 - eggs
- 2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup applesauce, sweetened
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats, uncooked
- 1 1/2 cups raisins (soaked in boiling water for 5 minutes and drained)
How To Make oatmeal raisin bread

Step 1Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl and set aside.

Step 2In another large bowl, beat eggs with brown sugar until fluffy.

Step 3Stir in applesauce, flour mixture and then remaining ingredients until just blended.

Step 4Pour into a well-greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.

Step 5Bake at 350 degrees for 65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

Step 6Cool for 5 minutes and remove from pan onto a rack. Cool completely. Store in refrigerator for al least a day. Slices better cold.
