This recipe is one that my mom requested I make for Easter...the recipe makes 2 loaves of fruity deliciousness...enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup shortening
- 3 - eggs, beaten
- 3 - ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup cranberry sauce, - i use whole berry sauce
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 cups ap flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 - 3/4 cups chopped, walnuts
How To Make nutty banana cranberry bread

Step 1In a large mixing bowl, beat sugar and shortening together until fluffy. Beat in eggs.

Step 2Stir in bananas, cranberry sauce, milk and vanilla. In another bowl mix together flour, soda, baking powder, nutmeg and cinnamon.

Step 3Gradually blend flour mixture into the banana mixture, fold in walnuts.

Step 4Divide batter evenly between two greased 9 x 5 loaf pans.

Step 5Bake at 350 degree for 50 - 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pans for 10 minutes; turn out onto a wire rack and cook completely.
