I remember the first time that I had a Cinnabon Cinnamon Bun with the Cream Cheese Icing I was in 7th Heaven. When we went to live in South Korea I would crave them so I found this site that would give you restaurants' recipe secrets called Copkat.com . When I found this one and made some adjustments I swore I was at a Cinnabon. I had found other recipes but the taste just wasn't there in my opinion.

How To Make my cinnabon cinnamon buns

  • 1
Place all ingredients in your bread machine in order recommended by your machine's manufacturer. Select the dough cycle and press start. When cycle is finished, remove dough, knead enough to punch down and roll into a rectangle 13 x12.
  • 2
Filling Combine the first 3 ingredients and mix well. Heat in microwave for 10 seconds to make it spreadable. Spread over the rolled dough with a rubber spatula, getting as close to edges as possible, sprinkle raisins and/or nuts over the cinnamon mixture. Roll starting at the widest end into a tight log. Cut into 1" slices and put into a buttered baking dish with sides. Cover and put in a warm draft free place and allow them to raise until doubled in size. About 30 - 45 minutes.
  • 3
Once doubled in size they are ready to bake. Place a pan of water in the bottom of the oven, so the buns will be moist. Bake at 350F for about 30 minutes. They should sound hollow when tapped.
