If you are anything like me, at the end of the week, you find yourself with a few bananas that haven't been gobbled up by the kids and are looking a bit lackluster. Once they get a few dark spots on the peel the kids won't touch them. I, however, am a smart enough woman to know that the riper the banana, the sweeter it is, making those sad looking bananas the perfect candidates for banana bread.   • 1 2/3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

  • 4 - bananas, very ripe

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 dash salt
