This recipe is from my mom and it's a hit because it's very moist unlike most banana bread. It does get a little dark when baking but it won't affect the flavor. Even my fussiest two eaters will eat a half a loaf after school.

    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    margarine
  • 3
    bananas - mashed
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/4 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda

How to Make Mom's banana bread

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream sugar and margarine. Add mashed bananas and eggs and beat well.
  2. Fold in dry ingredients and pour into greased loaf pan. I put a slip of wax paper on the bottom so it doesn't stick.
  3. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes.
