Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon rind, grated
- 1 cup canola oil or veg.
- 6 - eggs
- 1 2/3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- LEMON GLAZE
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon rind, grated
How To Make lemon cake bread

Step 1Heat oven to 325. Grease 2 8x4 inch loaf pans. In a large bowl, blend first 3 ingredients. Beat 1 minute at medium speed. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Step 2Stir in remaining ingredients just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake at 325 for 50-65 minutes or until of bread tests done.

Step 3Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan. Cool completely. Glaze with lemon glaze.
