The secret ingredient in this bread is buttermilk, which makes the bread so moist and flavorful. This is still my family's favorite banana bread and I've tried many banana bread recipes.

Ingredients
- 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
- 2 - eggs
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2-1 cup chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/4 cup plus 1 tbsp. buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make delicious buttermilk banana bread

Step 1Combine dry ingredients and sugar.

Step 2In another bowl, combine eggs, bananas, oil, buttermilk and vanilla.

Step 3Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in nuts.

Step 4Pour into a greased and floured 9 X 5 inch pan. Bake at 325 degrees about 1 hour and 15 minutes .
