Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, room temperature
- 2 tablespoons water
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup chopped dates
- 1 tablespoon all purpose flour ( keeps dates from sticking together)
- 1 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
How To Make date walnut bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. In a standing mixer cream eggs, sugar, butter and water. Combine flour, salt and baking powder and add this to creamed mixture.

Step 2In a small bowl mix chopped dates & walnuts with 1 Tbsp. flour and blend together, this will keep your dates and nuts from sticking together and sinking to the bottom of your bread.

Step 3Pour batter into a greased 13x9 inch baking dish and spread evenly. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until bread tests done in the center.
