Ingredients

  • 5 tablespoons butter, divided
  • 2 packages refrigerated crescent rolls, 8 oz
  • 11 ounces butterscotch chips, divided
  • 1/2 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons water
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

How To Make butterscotch sticky buns

  • Step 1
    Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in 13 x 9 pan in preheated oven to 375 degrees
  • Step 2
    Unroll crescent rolls and separate into 16 triangles
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle with 1-1/3 cup of butterscotch morsels
  • Step 4
    Starting at short side, roll each triangle up and place in 9 x 13 pan.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 15-20 minutes until slightly brown.
  • Step 6
    Microwave remaining morsels on med/high for 20 seconds. Stir and microwave another 10 to 20 seconds and stir until smooth.
  • Step 7
    Stir in nuts, sugar, lemon juice water and cinnamon.
  • Step 8
    Pour mixture over hot rolls. Return to oven and bake an additional 5 minutes or until bubbly.
  • Step 9
    Loosen from pan and cool in pan or on cooling rack for 10 minutes.
