This recipe is my all time favorite from "the Best of Bisquick from Betty Crocker". I use Truvia for baking sugar substitute and substitute sunflower seeds for nuts.

Ingredients

1/3 c
vegetable oil
1 1/2 c
mashed ripe bananas
1/2 tsp
vanilla
3
eggs
2 1/3 c
bisquick baking mix
1 c
sugar (or your favorite sugar substitute
1/2 c
chopped nuts

How to Make Banana Bread

Step-by-Step

  • 1Heat oven to 350°F. Generously grease bottom of loaf pan, 9x5x3 inches. Use solid shortening.
  • 2Stir all ingredients in pan with fork until moistened; beat vigorously 1 minute.
  • 3Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 55 to 65 minutes.
  • 4Cool 5 minutes. Run knife or metal spatula around sides of loaf, pressing gently to loosen; remove from pan.
