banana bread
This recipe is my all time favorite from "the Best of Bisquick from Betty Crocker". I use Truvia for baking sugar substitute and substitute sunflower seeds for nuts.

- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 - eggs
- 2 1/3 cups bisquick baking mix
- 1 cup sugar (or your favorite sugar substitute
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
How To Make banana bread

Step 1Heat oven to 350°F. Generously grease bottom of loaf pan, 9x5x3 inches. Use solid shortening.

Step 2Stir all ingredients in pan with fork until moistened; beat vigorously 1 minute.

Step 3Bake until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, 55 to 65 minutes.

Step 4Cool 5 minutes. Run knife or metal spatula around sides of loaf, pressing gently to loosen; remove from pan.
