Ingredients

1 c
dried apricots, cut fine
2 c
flour
2 tsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
baking soda
1 tsp
salt
1 c
sugar
2 Tbsp
melted butter
1/2 c
orange juice
2
eggs
1/2 c
chopped nuts

How to Make Apricot Nut Bread

Step-by-Step

  • 1Soak apricots in a 1/4 cup hot water for 30 minutes and then drain well.
  • 2Sift dry ingredients.
    Add eggs, orange juice and melted butter.
    Fold in apricots and nuts.
  • 3Pour into greased and floured 9 X 5 inch loaf pan.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes.
    Cool 10 minutes in pan before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
