A delicious, moist, easy to make bread that you will want to make often. If you like apricots, this bread will make your mouth water.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dried apricots, cut fine
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

How To Make apricot nut bread

  • Step 1
    Soak apricots in a 1/4 cup hot water for 30 minutes and then drain well.
  • Step 2
    Sift dry ingredients. Add eggs, orange juice and melted butter. Fold in apricots and nuts.
  • Step 3
    Pour into greased and floured 9 X 5 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes. Cool 10 minutes in pan before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
