Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour,unbleached
- 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
- 1 1/2 cups water, warm
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 quart pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 pints mozzarella cheese whole milk,shredded
- 1 tablespoon rosemary, dried and crushed
- 1 cup garlic,fresh roasted-(see my quick tip recipe!)
How To Make pizza's and pizza dough bread!
-
Step 1Start by warming the water to at least 110 degrees otherwise the yeast won't bloom. Be sure your yeast is fresh also, check the date. When the yeast has started to bubble, place your flour, salt in a large mixing bowl and pour in the yeast mixture, add the olive oil.
-
Step 2Mix the dough together until it begins to pull away from the sided of the bowl with a spatula. Now dust a work area and your hands with some flour, turn the dough out onto the counter and knead the dough for 2-3 minutes. Place it back into your bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Place the bowl in the warmest spot in your kitchen and let it double in size, this takes about 90 minutes.
-
Step 3Turn out the dough onto a flour dusted work area and cut the dough into threes. You can now start making your pizza's!
-
Step 4For the bread I used the roasted garlic and rosemary, salt, pepper on top and inside the dough, then baked it for 25 minutes at 450 degrees. The pizza's you can add what you like on top, they usually take about the same time, maybe less depending on your oven. Oh and make sure your pizza stone is already in the oven getting hot! I hope you and your family enjoy these as much as we do! :)
