Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 2 - eggs
How To Make peppery cheese bread

Step 1In a large bowl, combine flour, cheese, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and pepper.

Step 2In a smaller bowl, beat the eggs, melted butter and buttermilk together with a wisk.

Step 3Add to flour mixture and mix with a spoon just enough to wet all ingredients. Pour mixture into a 9x5 inch loaf pan that has just the bottom of the pan sprayed or greased.

Step 4Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Allow to cool for 15 minutes before removing from pan. Makes one loaf. Store in refrigerator.
