I do not remember where I found this recipe but it sounds really good!

  • 4 c
    all purpose baking mix
  • 2 c
    colby monterey jack cheese
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 c
    butter or margarine, melted
  • 4 oz
    canned green chilies, drained
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground red pepper

How to Make Chili Cheese Bread


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Toss baking mix with cheese.
  3. Stir together remaining ingredients. Add to dry ingredients; mix until blended.
  4. Pour into greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Bake 55 minutes. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan. 1 loaf.
