I recently found the Hatch brand of green chiles. If you haven't tried them yet, I highly recommend them. The flavor is fabulous!

Ingredients
- 2 cups corn meal
- 1 - egg
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1-1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 1 can chopped green chiles
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 4-5 dashes pepper sauce
How To Make mexican cornbread muffins

Step 1Preheat oven to 425 degrees

Step 2Mix all ingredients

Step 3Pour into greased muffin tins.

Step 4Cook 10-13 minutes until golden brown.

Step 5This recipe will make 12-18 muffins depending on how much batter you put in the muffin tin.
