Cinnamon Sugar Donut Bombs

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 c
    butter, room temp
  • 3/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    milk
  • CINNAMON SUGAR TOPPING
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 6 Tbsp
    butter, melted

How To Make

    Preheat oven to 375. Spray standard muffin pan with nonstick spray. Whisk flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg in a small bowl; set aside

    Beat butter and sugar in medium bowl until light and fluffy (4 min). Beat in egg and vanilla extract. With mixer on low speed, alternate adding flour mixture and milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.

    Divide batter between muffin cups and bake at 375 for 30-35 min. (If using mini muffin pan, bake at 375 for 15-17 min) Let cool 3 min.

    Cinnamon Sugar topping

    Melt butter in microwave and set aside. DO NOT ADD BUTTER TO SUGAR AND SUGAR MIXTURE Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow pan. Dip "bombs" in butter and roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Set on wire rack.
