2 1/4 call purpose flour
2 tspbaking powder
1 tspkosher salt
1/2 tspground nutmeg
1/2 cbutter, room temp
1 tspvanilla extract
CINNAMON SUGAR TOPPING
6 Tbspbutter, melted
How to Make Cinnamon Sugar Donut Bombs
- Preheat oven to 375. Spray standard muffin pan with nonstick spray. Whisk flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg in a small bowl; set aside
- Beat butter and sugar in medium bowl until light and fluffy (4 min). Beat in egg and vanilla extract. With mixer on low speed, alternate adding flour mixture and milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
- Divide batter between muffin cups and bake at 375 for 30-35 min. (If using mini muffin pan, bake at 375 for 15-17 min) Let cool 3 min.
- Cinnamon Sugar topping
- Melt butter in microwave and set aside. DO NOT ADD BUTTER TO SUGAR AND SUGAR MIXTURE
Mix sugar and cinnamon in a shallow pan.
Dip "bombs" in butter and roll in cinnamon and sugar mixture. Set on wire rack.
