How to Make Bacon Muffins
- Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Cut in shortening.
- Combine milk and egg, then add to flour mixture. Mix only enough to dampen flour.
- Fold in cereal and bacon.
- Fill greased muffin pans about 2/3 full.
- Bake at 400 for about 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
