Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons butter, melted
- 11/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 - eggs
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups chunky applesauce
How To Make applesauce muffins

Step 1Heat oven to 375. Line 12-cup muffin tin with baking papers.

Step 2Into a large mixing bowl sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.

Step 3In another large bowl, whisk the eggs and brown sugar. Stir in the applesauce and melted butter until smooth.

Step 4Add the applesauce mixture to the flour. Mix well with a wooden spoon until you cannot see any traces of flour.

Step 5Fill bake cups about two-thirds full with batter. Bake for 20 minutes or until light brown. Cool in pan 10 minutes.
