Ingredients
- 2 cups baking mix, such as bisquick
- 2/3 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (2 ounces)
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
How To Make mom's garlic cheese biscuits

Step 1Preheat oven to 450 degrees.

Step 2Stir baking mix, milk and cheese until soft dough forms.

Step 3Drop dough by rounded spoonfuls (use a soup spoon) onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Step 4Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 5Mix butter and garlic powder; brush over warm biscuits.

Step 6You can add any combination of ingredients to make the biscuits your own (i.e.: bacon, jalapenos, sun-dried tomatoes, gruyere cheese, pepper-jack cheese, etc.).
