I love these biscuit " muffins " for a quick breakfast or a little snack.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 - 8 count pkg buttermilk biscuits
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 - egg
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

How To Make cinnamon-nut danish

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375. Lightly spray 16 muffin cups w/ cooking spray. In small bowl, combine walnuts, brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Step 2
    Cut each biscuit in 1/2. Place each biscuit 1/2 in a muffin cup, pressing against bottom and sides.
  • Step 3
    In bowl, beat cream cheese, egg and sugar until smooth. Spoon even amounts of cream cheese mix into muffin cups. Sprinkle evenly w/ nut mix. Bake 10 mins, or until golden.
