Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 stick melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

How To Make cheddar drop biscuits

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  • Step 2
    Mix all powder ingredients and cheese in a large bowl.
  • Step 3
    Add butter and milk just until moistened. Drop batter on a lightly greased cookie sheet by the tablespoon.
  • Step 4
    Bake 9-13 minutes
