Buttermilk Biscuits With Strawberry Butter

- butter crisco
- 1/4 c
- soft butter
- 1-2 Tbsp
- favorite jam (i used strawberry)
How to Make Buttermilk Biscuits With Strawberry Butter
- 1Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in butter Crisco. Then add buttermilk and stir until soft dough is formed (about 25 strokes).
- 2Turn dough onto floured board and knead until smooth. Roll out to 1/2 inch for thick fluffy biscuits and a 1/4 inch for crusty thin biscuits.
- 3Cut with floured cutter. Put biscuits on greased pan. Bake at 400 for 15 minutes or until slightly golden. STRAWBERRY BUTTER-Mix 1/4 cup soft butter and 1 to 2 Tablespoons of strawberry jam or your favorite flavor of jam and put it in a small container to keep in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
