Ingredients
- 1 can 8 count biscuits (buttermilk is what i used)
- 3/4 cup apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter (i used peter pan)
- 1/2 cup powdered siugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
How To Make apple turnovers w/ crunchy peanut glaze
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Roll out flatly each biscuit and place a spoonful of pie filling in the center. Fold over the biscuit like a taco and seal edges with a fork.
-
Step 2Do the same for all the biscuits. Place unbaked turnovers on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until turnover is golden in color and baked completely.
-
Step 3For the glaze, Place peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk in a bowl and blend until creamy but not runny. You may find you need a little more milk or powdered sugar to get the consistency you need.
-
Step 4I used a butter knife to spread the glaze on while the turnovers were only slightly warm. Oh Goodness!
