I love apples and peanut butter together so I whipped up these easy pies today.

prep time 10 Min
cook time 10 Min
method Bake
yield 8 turnovers

Ingredients

  • 1 can 8 count biscuits (buttermilk is what i used)
  • 3/4 cup apple pie filling
  • 1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter (i used peter pan)
  • 1/2 cup powdered siugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk

How To Make apple turnovers w/ crunchy peanut glaze

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Roll out flatly each biscuit and place a spoonful of pie filling in the center. Fold over the biscuit like a taco and seal edges with a fork.
  • Step 2
Do the same for all the biscuits. Place unbaked turnovers on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until turnover is golden in color and baked completely.
  • Step 3
For the glaze, Place peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk in a bowl and blend until creamy but not runny. You may find you need a little more milk or powdered sugar to get the consistency you need.
  • Step 4
I used a butter knife to spread the glaze on while the turnovers were only slightly warm. Oh Goodness!
