I love apples and peanut butter together so I whipped up these easy pies today.

Ingredients

1 can(s)
8 count biscuits (buttermilk is what i used)
3/4 c
apple pie filling
1/2 c
crunchy peanut butter (i used peter pan)
1/2 c
powdered siugar
2 Tbsp
milk

How to Make Apple Turnovers W/ Crunchy Peanut Glaze

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 350. Roll out flatly each biscuit and place a spoonful of pie filling in the center. Fold over the biscuit like a taco and seal edges with a fork.
  • 2Do the same for all the biscuits. Place unbaked turnovers on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until turnover is golden in color and baked completely.
  • 3For the glaze, Place peanut butter, powdered sugar, and milk in a bowl and blend until creamy but not runny. You may find you need a little more milk or powdered sugar to get the consistency you need.
  • 4I used a butter knife to spread the glaze on while the turnovers were only slightly warm. Oh Goodness!
