whole wheat biscuits
Biscuits weren't really my "thing" until I tried using wheat flour. Now I really like to make them for special meals. I hope you enjoy them!

Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons canola oil
How To Make whole wheat biscuits

Step 1Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt, mix well.

Step 2Combine milk and oil: stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.

Step 3Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface, and knead 3 or 4 times.

Step 4Roll dough to 1/2" thick; cut with a 2 1/2" biscuit cutter.

Step 5Place on a ungreased baking sheet.

Step 6Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
