Another good recipe from co-worker Tracie De Stefano. She tells me that with her dad around, her mom, Merrie, never had to worry about running out of beer for this recipe. Somehow I don't think that means he was always willing to make a grocery run . . . hmmm. Photo by: dallascourier.com

Ingredients

  • 2 cups bisquick baking mix
  • 1/2 can beer
  • 2 tablespoons sugar

How To Make tracie's mom's beer biscuits

  • Step 1
    In a large mixing bowl, combine Bisquick and sugar. Mix well. Add the beer; stir, but don't over-mix. Batter should be lumpy.
  • Step 2
    Drop by spoonsful onto a greased muffin tin or cookie sheet. Bake in a pre-heated 375-degree oven for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
